Cozy Corner Cottage is a wonderful place to stay in the Valley! This fully equipped cottage is near Woflville, many wonderful wineries, Cape Blomidon, Scott's Bay and the list goes on and on. Angela and Mike are very easy to deal with and have made this cottage feel like home. It is very warmly decorated and they have provided everything to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.   • Grab a blanket and have a campfire at the beach or hang out at the cottage around the firepit
  • On a cool evening, enjoy the ambiance of the electric fireplace.
  • Great little shops in the Village of Canning to visit including grocery store, take-out pizza, pharmacy, convenience store, gas station, salon, meat market, Credit Union with ABM
  • Visit many of the local museums in the area including UNESCO Grand Pré, MacDonald Concrete House, Kentville Museum, Prescott House, Blue Beach Fossil Museum
  • Visit the site of the Expulsion of the Acadiens. A moving place.
  • Grab a meal or ice cream at The Tides In, located at the pier, less than a 5 minute walk
  • Bring your bike and discover the beautiful landscapes along our highways
  • Enjoy many of the walking trails including Canning, the old CN Railway walking trail, Miner's Marsh, The Ravine, and Blomidon Provincial Park
  • Walk down Longspell Road towards Goull's Hollow and along the way, sit for a bit and enjoy one of the smallest libraries around
  • Walk along the ocean floor during low tide to Paddy's Island in Medford, but remember to watch the tides. Find caves along the way carved out by the force of the changing tides.
  • Just up the road towards Canning, stop by Blomidon Wineries -- so close! ( or catch The Magic Winery Bus in Wolfville for a day of visiting many local wineries. (
  • Dip your toes in the water at many of the local beaches including Kingsport, Medford, Houston's, Blomidon, Scott's Bay, and Hall's Harbour
  • Enjoy a freshly cooked lobster at Hall's Harbour and enjoy watching the boats bring in their bounty (
  • You cannot miss a trip to the LookOff overlooking the Annapolis Valley. A Kodak moment for sure!
  • Visit local farm markets and local road-side stands for the freshest fruits and vegetables
  • Don't forget your fishing pole!
  • There are drop-in circuit and yoga classes at the community hall (for a fee) just steps from the cottage
  • Whale watch at Brier Island (a day trip), and along the way, stop to see the incredible Balancing Rock
  • Visit an award-winning cheesemaking facility "Foxhill Cheese House"
  • There are great pubs and restaurants in Wolfville and Kentville as well as galleries and fantastic shops
  • Pick up the best homemade pepperoni and beef jerky as well as all your BBQ needs at The Village Meat Market in Canning where Andrew and his staff will be more than happy to suggest the great cuts for dinner. Ask about their "Worlds's Best Steak". Delicious!
